Delivering digital skills for the workforce of the future

Tech and IT-related job vacancies make up 12% of all open UK job vacancies, with more than 100K open vacancies per month. It is the fastest-growing sector. At the same time, the Tech sector struggles to attract diverse talent and even less so build a diverse talent pipeline to fill these desperately needed skills. The Question: How do we get young people interested in STE(A)M. How can we help them understand and acquire the skills needed to thrive in Tech related Industries and become successful members of the workforce? How will this need change in the near future? Do we have the infrastructure in place to deliver what our economy needs? How can education outreach help us bridge the Gap?
Panel discussion addressing the issue with experts from Industry and the Skills sector.
